Yeh-Chun Lin
Taiwanese violist Yeh-Chun Lin is an expressive and collaborative artist dedicated to chamber music, storytelling, and community engagement. She has performed across the United States, Europe, Canada, and Taiwan as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player.
A first prize winner of the Les Violons du Roy Concerto Competition, the Borromeo Quartet Guest Artist Award, and the A Far Cry x NEC Collaborative Competition, Yeh-Chun has performed in concert series such as First Monday, Harvard’s Signet Society, A Far Cry, and the Phoenix Chamber Orchestra.
She has appeared at festivals including Four Seasons Spring Workshop, Yellow Barn, Domaine Forget de Charlevoix, and the Perlman Music Program, working with artists like Itzhak Perlman, Donald Weilerstein, Joel Krosnick, Colin Carr, Catherine Cho, and the Borromeo String Quartet.
Equally passionate about outreach, Yeh-Chun has participated in numerous musical storytelling and community engagement events, aiming to create meaningful connections through music. She completed the Teaching Artistry Concentration Program at the New England Conservatory, deepening her commitment to using music as a tool for education, reflection, and social connection.
She received her Graduate Diploma with Wenting Kang at the New England Conservatory. She also earned both her Bachelor degree and Master degree at the New England Conservatory with her mentors Mai Motobuchi and Beth Guterman Chu.
